Could this be acid reflux?

I recently went to the emergency room because it felt as if my throat was closing. They ran tests to see if I had mono or strep, but the tests came back negative. They then told me I must have a viral throat infection and sent me on my way. They did not help at all. I have been researching all of my symptoms and it seems to me that it could be acid reflux, but I am not sure. First of all, I started my period the day it felt like my throat was closing. It also feels like there is pressure in my chest. I am very burpy and seeing as how all I drink is water, I find this odd. When I lay on my back it seems to get worse, and I get this stinging pain in the right side of my chest. The left side of my chest feels like it is burning occassionally. My stomach feels as if there is something inside just waiting to burst out. There is also this stinging pain at the top of my abdomen just above the belly button. I have never had these symptoms before while on my period. I am 19 years old bythe way. Any thoughts?
