Worst strep throat ever!?

i have had a really bad strep throat for about 5 days now. I've taken pain reliever medicine and used that numb spray & nothing is working at all. It hasn't gotten any better & every time i swallow i almost cry it hurts so bad! What could this be? & how can i make it better?
