I have what looks like a scrape on the back of my thoat, can someone help?

I haven't had the best luck with my throat, I get sore throats a lot, I got really sick last year with laryngitis and strep-throat at one time. I don't think that has anything to do with it,, but i'm just sayin. Anyways, my thoat has been bothering me for the past week and a half, just little sore throats when I woke up or went to bed. But the past two days it seemed to have gotten worse. I don't have a fever or anything but it made me feel lousy, so I checked the back of my throat. It's very red, no white spots at all. But behind my Uvula - not on it, but directly behind on my thoat, it looks like a big scrape, maybe 3/4 of an inch long. Please help me out!
